The Long Term Care Pharmacy Alliance (LTCPA) represents the major national long-term care pharmacies. Together, LTCPA member companies serve four out of every five residents of long-term care facilities nationwide.

Omnicare is the largest U.S. provider of professional pharmacy, related consulting and data management services for skilled nursing, assisted living and other institutional healthcare providers as well as for hospice patients in homecare and other settings.

PharMerica Corporation, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, is an institutional pharmacy services company servicing healthcare facilities. PharMerica is the second largest institutional pharmacy services company in the United States based upon pro forma revenues for PharMerica’s combined businesses for the year ended December 31, 2006. As of September 30, 2007, PharMerica operated more than 120 institutional pharmacies in 40 states.
