Synopsis:

Relates to Medicaid; directs the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to establish certain prescription drug discount program; provides for eligibility; provides for content; directs the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board to establish certain preferred drug formulary in certain manner; directs the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to negotiate for certain supplemental state rebates; expands the duties of the Medicaid Drug Utilization Review Board.

 

Synopsis Additional:

As Passed House:   B. The prescription drug discount program shall authorize, at minimum, that Medicare beneficiaries enrolled in the program shall be able to purchase prescription drugs at the Medicaid price at all pharmacies in the state that participate in the state Medicaid program.
